TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND PRIVACY STATEMENT FOR JOB APPLICANTS

In submitting your application you are agreeing to your personal information being used as outlined in the following statement. If you do not want your information to be used as follows, please do not submit your CV.

By submitting your application, you will be required to provide personal details, including contact details and application information.

Your access and use of the job application section of GETT website (the ‘Careers section’ on https://www.gett.com/careers/) is subject to the following Terms and Conditions.

GETT may at any time revise these Terms and Conditions by updating this posting. Revisions apply as of the date of their publication. You are bound by any such revisions and should therefore visit this page before each access to review the then current Terms and Conditions.

The term “GETT” refers to the GETT Group or its representatives. The term “GETT Company” refers to any legal entity within the GETT Group.

  • This Careers section may be used only by individuals seeking employment and career information. Use for any other purpose is strictly prohibited. GETT will process the personal data you enter on the Careers section in accordance with the applicable legislation and these Terms and Conditions.
  • GETT reserves the right to remove any information submitted by users which it assesses in its sole discretion as being inappropriate, abusive, illegal, or disruptive.
  • If you register for the Careers section, you will be asked to provide personal data to GETT. You agree that your personal data shall be collected, put in a database and processed by GETT. By providing personal data to us, you agree that your personal data may be transferred to any GETT subsidiary or affiliated company or any of its subcontractors located in a third country which may not offer an adequate level of data protection, for the purposes specified in these Terms and Conditions.  GETT will seek to ensure that all such transferred are made subject to strict privacy and data protection restrictions in accordance with application local laws.
  • We will only request information from you which is reasonably necessary for the identification and evaluation of potential candidates for open positions.
  • Information submitted by you will be used to identify and evaluate you for positions in GETT. It will be accessed by GETT human resources functions and by managers responsible for positions for the purposes of evaluation. GETT will not use information submitted by you for any other purpose, except as specified by these Terms and Conditions, or with your consent. Technical staff may have some limited access your personal data but only when necessary for the technical administration of this system.
  • In the process of identifying and evaluating potential candidates for employment, GETT may, where appropriate for the role and in accordance with applicable law provide your personal data to third parties within or outside your country of residence or (open) position location who provide services to GETT related to such identification and evaluation for the purposes of candidate authentication and verification of the submitted information (such as appropriate authorized authorities responsible for maintaining educational, electoral or where appropriate criminal records).  These third parties may only use your personal data for the purposes set forth in these Terms and Conditions, and GETT has taken steps to ensure that your personal data is processed in accordance with these Terms and Conditions by any service provider we engage.
  • GETT may also disclose your personal data to regulatory authorities (including tax authorities), government agencies, law enforcement authorities, parties (including our legal or other advisors) in legal proceedings involving GETT, third parties with whom we may collaborate or engage in acquisition transactions, or where otherwise required by applicable law. GETT may also share anonymous or aggregate information with third parties.
  • You agree not to provide incomplete, false, or inaccurate biographical information; or information which is not your own accurate resume. Please note that if you do not provide complete responses to the requested information, we may not be able to evaluate you as a candidate for positions at GETT. You may access, inspect, update or delete information that you have submitted to the website at all times. You may ask GETT to correct or remove from the Careers section information you submitted at any time by sending an e-mail to the following address hr.privacy@gett.com.
  • You are responsible for your own information and for the consequences of their posting. You agree not to submit information infringing on the privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or intellectual property rights of others, including information revealing trade secrets, unless you own the rights or have the owner’s permission so to do. For clarity, GETT will not be responsible or liable for any violation of third party privacy, confidentiality or intellectual property rights arising from the information you submit to the Careers section.
  • This website acts as a passive conduit for the online distribution and publication of user-submitted information. GETT’s administration of the website imposes no obligation to screen communications or information in advance and is not responsible for screening or monitoring posted material. As a result, GETT does not warrant the quality, safety or legality of the jobs or resumes posted, the truth or accuracy of the listings, or the ability of individual GETT Companies to offer job opportunities to candidates.  
  • GETT is committed to protecting the personal data you share with us. In support of this commitment, we have implemented appropriate technical, physical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against: unauthorized or accidental destruction, alteration or disclosure; misuse; damage; theft or accidental loss; or unauthorized access.
  • GETT uses browser “cookies” to simplify the use of the Careers section, and to obtain information to improve the information and services made available through the Careers Section.   • If these Terms and Conditions do not address an issue, the Privacy policy and the Legal information contained on this website become applicable. However, these Terms and Conditions will take precedence where there is any inconsistency between Privacy policies or Legal disclosures.
  • The GETT will retain personal data collected from unsuccessful candidates only for as a long as strictly necessary for the purposes set forth in these Terms and Conditions.  This is normally the maximum statutory period in which a claim arising out of the recruitment process may be brought against GETT. Personal data may details maybe be retained for consideration by GETT in relation to future positions, if you give your permission for this.
  • If you are successful with your application some of the personal data collected as part of this recruitment process may be transferred to your personnel file. Full details of the personal data GETT will hold about you as employee will be provided as part of your on-boarding process.
