Gett and Collective Benefits, a leading rewards provider for companies, today announced a new partnership. Through this partnership, drivers using the Gett app will be eligible for new perks such as discounts at major retailers across the UK.
Through the Collective Benefits Rewards Programme, qualifying drivers registered with Gett now have access to market-leading savings on a wide range of essentials including fuel from major UK brands, and food from Morrisons, Sainsbury’s, Asda and more. Plus, they can enjoy savings on lifestyle brands like Apple, Nike and Currys. The programme encourages loyalty, with drivers who complete a given number of rides per month using the Gett app becoming eligible for the rewards.
“We’re delighted to be working with Collective Benefits to bring a new reward scheme to drivers using the Gett app. Black cab drivers are the cornerstone of city transport, and at the core of our business,” said Guy Gaash, VP of Global Partnerships at Gett. He continued, “They typically work long shifts, and complete dozens, if not hundreds of journeys every month. Now, those drivers can earn more rewards for the work that they’re already doing.”
“We’re thrilled to be partnering with Gett as they commit to improving the wellbeing of drivers using their platform,” said Anthony Beilin, CEO and co-founder at Collective Benefits. “In committing to reward drivers in the face of the cost-of-living crisis, Gett is reconfirming its status as a leader in the flexible work space. We’re excited to see the impact that this partnership will have on driving loyalty and engagement – we can’t wait to get started.”
With the cost of living crisis continuing to impact the UK, these new rewards are aimed at reducing everyday costs, and work alongside the TfL’s recent taxi tariff increase that can help to increase earnings. Offering this rewards programme to drivers is expected to help them save up to 8% on their groceries, 5% on petrol, 40% on entertainment like cinema trips, and 25% on technology and retail outlets.
This rewards scheme joins Gett’s other perks for drivers, including discounts for charging electric vehicles, vehicle maintenance, car washes, monthly drop-in sessions, incentive schemes and lotteries. Gett also provides daily payments to drivers, so that they are paid their fares as soon as possible, which can help them manage their household cash flow.
