We’re looking for a Product Management Team Leader to lead our Marketplace product team – the engine behind the on-demand revolution in transportation and new verticals across all our markets. This is a player-coach role: you’ll manage and grow a team of product managers while owning a core product area hands-on, taking it from vision to reality.
The Marketplace team is responsible for:
- Building and maintaining the platform for drivers and couriers to work with Gett
- Developing dynamic, ML-driven marketplace solutions for matching, pricing, earnings, and broader optimisation.
- Integrating external supply partners (other transportation companies)
And much more. Our focus is data-driven solutions that grow and optimise the marketplace while enhancing driver experience and earnings.
What you’ll do
- Lead a team of product managers – set direction, coach and develop them, and raise the bar on product craft across the Marketplace group.
- Own a product roadmap end-to-end – take a core marketplace area from vision to execution and delivery, while staying hands-on with the hardest problems yourself.
- Generate comprehensive insights through data, market, and user research to guide product vision, with a specific focus on marketplace dynamics in ride-hailing and delivery.
- Lead products and features throughout their entire lifecycle – from concept and detailed requirements to execution and successful rollout – emphasising marketplace efficiency and a great user experience for both riders and suppliers.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Data Analytics, Customer Experience, Marketing, and Operations to build best-in-class products and ensure successful market rollout in competitive ride-hailing and delivery markets.
- Define metrics, analyse feature performance through qualitative and quantitative analysis, and iterate until objectives are met – with a keen eye on marketplace KPIs.
- Understand our strategic position vs. the competition and work day in, day out to improve it.
- Actively contribute to the overall Gett product roadmap, bringing a deep understanding of marketplace operations and the competitive landscape.
- Champion our vision, priorities, challenges, and opportunities with teams across our regions.
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate product discovery, requirements definition, analysis, and day-to-day product execution.
Requirements
What you’ll need
- 2+ years managing other product managers, with a track record of building and developing strong product teams.
- 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years managing ride-tech, delivery, food-tech, or similar or dynamic marketplaces.
- Proven track record defining business cases and requirements for marketplace products, focusing on supply/demand, dynamic pricing, matching, efficiency, and automation
- Strong data-driven mindset: defining metrics, setting KPIs, monitoring performance, and optimizing marketplace funnels.
- Experience defining and executing gradual rollouts, A/B tests, and user segmentation, and extracting insights and statistical conclusions.
- Experience optimising day-to-day processes via AI tools.
- Technological orientation and a solid understanding of the development cycle.
- Proven ability to prioritize effectively, focus on key goals, and execute flawlessly in fast-paced environments
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with experience conveying complex marketplace strategies to executives and large audiences.
- Hands-on mentality, with a proven ability to get things done in high quality.
- English and Hebrew proficiency is a must.
Nice to have
- B.Sc. in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent experience as a Software Engineer, Data Scientist or Product Analyst – ideally with exposure to marketplace models.
- Experience building ML-powered, complex-logic solutions for marketplace optimisation.
- Advanced wireframing skills; familiarity with Figma or Sketch.
